01Separate the training methods
IHHT alternates hypoxic and hyperoxic phases at rest. Living or sleeping in an altitude tent uses a different exposure pattern; exercising in hypoxia adds physical workload. Evidence from one approach should not be treated as proof for another.
Compare altitude tents and IHHT ↗02Set a measurable, honest objective
Decide which outcome matters to your programme and how it will be assessed consistently. Record changes in training load and other interventions, so a change in performance is not automatically attributed to IHHT.
03Plan the service around the session
Allow for screening, staff oversight, setup, between-client cleaning, and recordkeeping. Capacity depends on the final operating instructions and your staffing model; we do not publish a sessions-per-day or recovery guarantee.
IHHT is worth evaluating as a distinct service, with a defined use case and honest measurement. It should not be sold as a shortcut to the effects of altitude camps or as a substitute for well-designed training.
